James 1:19-21

James 1:19-21

19
My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. 21Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

Ben's Comments:

-It is not easy to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry - it is actually natural to the opposite!
-Verse 20 - This is very true.

Questions:

1. What do you think it would be like if everyone was quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to be come angry?
2. Is it hard for you to be quick to listen?
3. Based on Verse 20. What kind of life does God want us to have?

Let me know what you think!
